I know it's been on PSP and Switch, and this will surely have keyboard controls but I just can't imagine doing those charts in any way but directly using my fingers. Maybe it's better than I'd suspect! Normally $35.99 but I guess either on sale or a bundle price. so that's...$96 for the full game? is there no cheaper way to do this? The Switch version of the game is $14.99 right now...but apparently doesn't include The Last Recital, whatever that is. And then what the hell is Reborn? I am so confused. --- ...Snrk. Deemo, along with some other games of theirs, are on Switch with (almost) all their dlc included for free. Last Recital is the Vita version which does have a bit of extra story content and overall better presentation, but is absolutely skeletal on the song count compared to the Switch/mobile versions. Reborn is a full remake with very pretty graphics that adds exploration and puzzle elements in addition to a very respectable song list. (Though some of this one's offerings are paid dlc.) I also went through a "give me all the rhythm games" phase very recently but thankfully Cytus 2 ended up emerging as a focus that fully scratched the itch. Cytus 1 technically isn't obsolete since it still has a bunch of songs that aren't represented (yet) in Cytus 2. More and more keep showing up lately, and that may ramp up now that the story is finished. No idea how it would play without a touchscreen or VR I guess. I guess I can imagine working reasonably well on keyboards. Still feels rather alien compared to how free flowing the original game was with touch controls. If you've ever played DJMAX you'll feel right at home, though it's more similar to the recent rhythm release MUSYNX with the top-down chart. It was done pretty well in my opinion, and the puzzles are definitely well made and require some good thinking to get past.
