Simple question. And apparently, I'm not the only one asking. Let me just say, I guess I can't speak for anyone else, but I would damn sure expect to be shot at if I took some shit off a cop during a fight, ran, turn and pointed it. They even have a name for it, suicide-by-cop.

They knew it was the taser ffs.

And even if they didnt, that speaks to a much larger issue or 'why were their guns out in the first place'?

ive read he was shot in the back.....but i also read he was aiming it to the nearest cop

so was the cop who shot him behind him meaning he was standing between the 2 cops ?

Have you not see the video? he's running away, aims the taser back, it misses and then they shoot him dead. Completely unnecessary.

I'd expect about a 50/50 chance that I get shot based on precedence.
But just because something is usually done a certain way does not mean it should be. Cops shouldn't shoot someone they know is not armed with a lethal weapon. The fact that they do sometimes is irrelevant.

Tasers can kill, but its not surprising that people dont know that. He could have shot the cop and he could have gotten cardiac arrest, or he could have fallen and hit his head on the floor and died.
