you do really well against my Wolf and the Joker I played today. Falcon is definitely nerfed online, there's no doubt about it. He definitely gets dumpstered by the likes of ZSS, Inkling, Pika, Palu, etc.

ggs though! didn't realize how late it was. i might be down tomorrow too, though a bit later like 10 or 11 EST.

I like to call them "works in progress" haha. the wolf in particular. I use him as my secondary in tournaments, but yeah ZSS is easily the main.

GGs daddy, ace and NightMarishPie. I dunno why I did so bad in the beginning. I was playing early today and doing fine with no SDs or anything and against some pretty good players. Smh pichu is one of those characters when Pichu does Pichu things and the character feels great but when that doesnt happen the character feels kinda bad.

Sometimes it feels that way. Like trying to dash and a tilt comes up or being off stage and buffering an air dodge by accident or sometimes getting off platforms or trying to uptilt from a dragdown and nothing comes up. Sometimes this game feels unresponsive.

Havent played in a while, but yes the buffering in particular is awful. The game feels terrible when you play something else with good response time.

This is one of the reasons I vastly prefer Melee. I'm just a mid level player in that game as well, and even though it can make certain frame perfect actions difficult to perform, there being no buffer for 99% of actions makes it feel more like your mistakes are your own and can be rectified through practice. I recognize the buffer system makes many actions easier to perform, including frame perfect combos made more consistent with attack canceling which only exists because of the buffer system, but too often I find myself dying to misinputs because of the buffer. Honestly it is something you can adapt to, when I'm playing good it doesn't effect me much, maybe because on that particular day I have a better feel for timing inputs so as to not be screwed over by the buffer system.

first game i fought charleston, didn't so as well as i could have. lost game 1 and suffered a little too much mental damage, so game 2 i did even worse. he wasnt the best bowser i ever faced so i feel like it could have been winnable but idk (i dont mean this offensively, he still played very well). lost 0-2 to him.

second game i fought mustang. tbh game 1 i was 3 stocked within 60 seconds. i ended up forfeiting game 2.



tbh when i first started playing in tourneys i used to sign up every change i got. i stopped though because of the mental damage from losing. now i sign up whenever. i didn't want to play this tournament today, to be honest, but i forced myself to because i want to stay a member of the smash community.

It's cool pojr. Being put in a competitive environment can be stressful and it just depends on how you're feeling at the moment. Somedays you do well, others you go 0-2. You don't have to join tourneys if you dont feel like it, you can play with the CE crew or join Wumbo's arenas when he streams. I didn't do too well either especially against Alo when we went last stock first game and he just played keep away with zelda 2nd game and destroyed me lol

Lol did we all lose? I had some good opponents, my opponents definitely mained their characters. Mario is really good in this format, you just ban fd and ps1 and bam you have tri plats. Granted Falcon benefits from this as well, but Mario much more so. I lost to a good Bowser 2-1, I hate losing that MU because I know Falcon wins. Sucks that jab is near useless outside of jab lock scenarios due to Bowser's Tough Guy static ability since I like to abuse Falcon jab a lot

Aww yeah pojr try not to take it so serious, I usually get destroyed. I find the tourneys fun though since it gets my heart racing. I wouldn't necessarily wanna be on stream unless I was playing hot, though. Too much pressure not to look stupid, but at the same time you definitely wanna style

Yeah I think we all lost. I had to go against Alo first round which I think is a high level Zelda. I did surprisingly well and even got a dair spike but 2nd game he kept me trapped in the corner with phantom and Zelda can kill Pichu very early. 2nd game went up against a Roy and did pretty decently but I got side b'd at the ledge.

Honestly I definitely recognize that I'm a full level below a lot of these tourney grinders. They probably know exactly what to look for at every percent and seem to know what I'm looking for as well. Granted I haven't labbed out things nearly as much as I should, and I often go for things that actually have no chance of working because I'm not always paying attention to percent

I dont like how floaty pikachu feels in comparison to Pichu but it feels nice not killing yourself just for playing the game lmao

Also you can chain jab or grab from bair like around 20% up. You can also do fair to jab at low percentages. Also you can do upthrow nair to fair or since you know how to attack cancel you can do down throw to nair.
