Ggs, I wanted to try to beat your ZSS streak but if you're not feeling it anymore it's fine. I honestly have no idea wtf to do against that character, it feels like oftentimes I just die too early. She's too slippery to knee for me, might have to learn single hit nair to knee percents or something. Can't really edgeguard her well either, and she can edgeguard me very easily. Funny too how much you hate spikes but ZSS is really good at it lol. You used it a few times which is good to see, you were never really doing it before. The dair spike is brutal when you're up 2 stocks to 1.

Eh, Wolf is combo food and easily edgeguarded, and he can't edgeguard under 99% of circumstances. I'm sure he wins offline for various reasons but online I'm not so sure.

lol i watched that set today. i felt slightly vindicated seeing Leo get clapped (granted it was by the best Falcon, but still).

Ill keep playing if you want, the lobby shut down so I thought you were done. The ZSS spike is brutal if you're up a stock. literally a free stock on some characters, it's nuts. I think in particular i just hate falcons vs wolf lol. Both ZSS and Falcon suffer online, but I think Falcon tends to suffer a bit more in the matchup.

I'll keep going if you want though.

zero suit is one of those characters that has all of the things a lot of people hate about some top tiers in this game
really safe aerials, hard to edgeguard (she can even reverse attempts into early deaths), no disadvantage state, upb that kills really early, can play really campy if needed, can randomly delete you if you play too careless

luckily she's considerably worse online and enough of a skill ceiling that not too many people i fight are extremely good with her, but whenever i fight her i always have to play super safe because any mistake i make can result in a really early death

do you find the matchup difficult or it is just a different playstyle kind of matchup? ZSS vs GnW is typically seen as ZSS favored, but I cannot figure out the matchup for the life of me. I got crushed by this pretty good GnW in Naifu wars (beats Nairo on stream pretty often) and I just couldnt figure it out.

i think it's one of his least fun matchups in the game, up there with sonic and ike. i don't personally lose it that much (zss is rare anyways) but i think it's in zss's favor, she has just enough disjoints for upb to not be a free initiator, her upb can punish his upbs for early kills, and she's really hard to hit. playing lame in general and forcing game & watch to approach is generally how you beat him and she has all the moves to play patient

i think game & watch is good at burning flip kick and he does a pretty good job at juggling her, but whenever i fight a zss i swear it always goes to the last minute because i'm afraid of an upb killing me at 70% by the ledge and zss is too afraid to nair while i do run away downsmashes

upsmashing a flip kick is the most satisfying fucking thing though

Hannibal and I were playing in a crew battle yesterday. I was a little bit tilted from my loss to that Mario player willy caves lol. He had 1 stock, I had 3 - he still beat me. That's pretty pathetic lol. Couldn't even touch him, he's an unbelievably good player, felt like I was playing a TAS.

It was fun yesterday. I choked big time during the doubles crew battle, me and that PT player were going pretty even against heroshade and the crown player, even had the same amount of stocks and close percentages. I fucked up because I tried to air dodge to the ledge to avoid self damage but ended up touching the ledge but not snapping to it and I ended up dying at like 20% at my last stock. That was horrible.

I also faced that Mario player which I was doing good against but the match exposed holes in my gameplan with Pichu. In particular how to actually close stocks. He lived to like 167% first stock, he fell out of bair at the ledge at one point, and he kept killing me center stage with fsmash like at 80%. That sucked.

I also told Araknos that maybe he should have sent me against the PT player that took 13 stocks because I was beating him with Pichu and Pikachu in the friendly's arena. Overall it was fun but I always do terrible in crew battles lmao. You should join them more often pojr, wumbo has them every saturday at 8pm central.

Also ant do you have any tips against GnW with Pichu? I feel that MU is terrible since you can't use tjolt because of bucket and it's difficult to edgeguard GnW.
