People will find an excuse to whine about anything, look at how many people here have meltdowns over Star wars movies. The Epic store hissy fit where PC gamers tried to boycott it. Console wars, phone wars. Everyone loves to get emotional over their favorite media and then run to their high horse when it involves something they weren't interested in.

I don't understand this recent idea that criticizing something is somehow bad. The only bad kind of criticizing is when it gets into insane shit like hounding the devs on Twitter 24/7, or literal threats of violence. For some reason, people see those insane cases and somehow extrapolate it to be the norm, as with everything else on the internet.

Id prefer you exercise that juicy, ripply brain of yours and not throw a fit at at all. Realize its not that big of a deal and maybe the developers are

Those arent extreme cases those are literally the norm. I cant speak to the death threats but literally. Just take any game, follow its history from announcement to release these days. It doesnt matter what it is, there will be a large group of very irate gamers yelling about SOMETHING about that game.

The problem is these days gamers have one fuckin mode and thats complain and Im here to the ya if thats your outlook youre a pessimistic idiot and need to find a new hobby.

TC is right about how TLoU2 haters found and dug up any thing they can to hate the game. For example, some dude on Reddit posted some fake shit about the leaks coming from a former employer who treated was disgruntle because of the way Naughty Dog treated their employers. So many idiots instantly believed in that news without a shed of evidence. After that reddit post was proved to be fake, the same idiots wouldn't even acknowledge it was fake, in fact they double down on their hate.

But then TC has no room to talk about how gamers likes to find fake reasons to hate a game because he pretty much did the same thing against Pokemon S&S. TC pretty much lead the crusade of the Pokemon S&S hate on CE for the longest time LMAO.

My opinions on Pokmon are very well known around here. The game hasnt changed since I played Red and Blue and my opinions on the series havent changed either. Sword and Shield did absolutely nothing to change that.

What Veggeta has in his mind is that I was on some crusade or boycott of the game. Veggeta is a diehard fanboy and is extremely defensive against anyone who had anything negative to say about it and it always comes down to a crusade ? Here we are 8 months later and he brings it up completely out of blue.

I was just happy to see an actual outcry from people on Pokmon for a change. It only took the first main console title for people to wise up and realize that its unneceptable how lazy the game design is and how far back the series is by todays standards. Even users like CM Ponch who for YEARS was the biggest Pokmon defender CE had to offer was sharing the same critiques Ive had of the series for decades.

But again, dont be fooled into thinking that anyone actually believes a series like Pokmon is in any way affected by what people say on the internet. In fact, back on topic, whining on the internet pretty much never tells the whole story of how a game will perform.
