I dont think the government should get involved. They would be overstepping.

A lot of Ohio and most of "Pennsyltucky" (mid Pennsylvania between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia) are havens for "rednecks north of the Mason-Dixon," can imagine this turning into a shit show.

edit: I guess the 1890-1920 boom falls in the 100 years. But none of the 1950-1960 boom does.

Ohioan here, and the actual bill voted down was a ban on selling confederate flags at fairs.
And as someone who goes to a lot of fairs, there is no way they could have enforced that.
