does that mean that if i'm sitting in my chair right now and move to my bed, that there was a chemical reaction that switched all of "me" in the chair with the "air" that was residing over my bed?
kinda like teleportation of sorts? how are scientists so confused by things...it's really that simple. want interstellar travel? just switch spots with whatever's chilling where you want to go

shucks, thanks. but if you think about it, that also means i'm dumber.

think of it like this, as you get smarter and understand things more, you'll start realizing that there's a lot you don't understand. so for every one thing you finally "get" there might be two or more things that you know you can't quite grasp. so that means, as you get more understanding/intelligence, what you know relative to what you know you don't understand gets closer and closer to zero.

What do you think happens when a diver moves around under water? Or you throw a rock into a pool?

Do they continuously destroy and create water as they move about?

they could, that'd be pretty bad ass.

"hey, water...see ya later bitch!"
then "pysche!!! you just got reanimated"

it's kinda crazy, like rain is just the earth sweating... wonder why it happens on cool days too, kinda freaky. the world must have some insane workout routine.

But why does the water level rise so that the total volume of water remains the same when something is submerged? I just dont get it mang.

Allow me to hijack a dumb mofo analblast troll topic for a serious question.

If matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed, how is entrophy a thing? Why will the universe suffer a heat death if energy will always exist? I know its said that energy enters an "unusable state", but what does that mean and how is it functionally and literally different from being destroyed.

I always thought it had to do with the concept that nothing can ever be 100% efficient. The energy put into causing something to happen will never equate the resultant effect in terms of output. So over time that will limit the amount of usable energy in a closed system.

Now how that actually breaks down I don't know. I'm not sure what is supposed to happen when you can't commit enough energy to keep a system operational when, theoretically, it should still exist. But I know that the principle of energy transfers always renders some loss of efficiency and I would think that applies to the most basic elements as well.

Think of it like pouring out a bag of marbles. At first they're moving wildly, bouncing off of one another, acting in chaotic ways. But as time goes on, they drift apart (or together depending on incline) and cease to move around. They're still marbles, they haven't been destroyed, but they're no longer moving.

From what I could understand as the universe expands so to does matter, and the further apart everything becomes the harder chains of events like the creation stars and planets becomes.

Until eventually it becomes impossible and what stars remain will eventually exhaust all their energy, frizzle out, and die.

its very simple TC. when we're static we exist in two dimensions, and when we move we slip into the third. the third dimension exists sideways from the first and second dimension so while we're in it we dont interact with the 2 dimensional static world. as such when we 'move' we're really just passing through all matter between our start and end point without physically touching it.

now you may ask 'but what about the matter at the end point where we transition into the second dimension?' well the truth is we dont know, we just call it spooky action.

That's kinda crazy. It reminds me of this thought I had a while ago. So you know how we exist in the 3rd dimension but our vision is 2d with depth tricks? And how 3d objects cast 2d shadows?
Well with that logic, our existence at any given point in time is a shadow of the 4th dimension, since the 4th dimension is supposedly time and we can't perceive it as a whole just like how a 2d object can't perceive the 3rd dimension as a whole but only slices of it

you were occupying the original space. when you moved, you pushed air out of the way and air occupied the original space in which you were.

imagine you are submerged in a pool. you move to the left. is there nothing where you originally were? no, there is water now that has taken your place just like the air would have.

i'm still convinced that we switched. weird how we don't ask the air we breathe for consent before moving it..y'know? it's the thing that keeps us alive, you'd think that we'd treat it a bit better.
i mean, even if we were to burn a piece of paper it would turn into ashes...people would say "there is no paper there now!" but i would say "but there was in the past" and they'd say "you're living in the past, man!"

it's weird being stuck in the past...does it even exist? how do i get there? even our thoughts are in the past because the neurons that fire in our brain for thinking start lighting up before we're aware of it, but we can never GET there. UGH.
