It's not, it's a binary barycentric planetoid cluster shared with Charon.

Wouldn't a dwarf planet still be a planet? Either way, Pluto will always be a planet to me...

I'd say so.

I'm just not sure if they revoked that or not tbh. I remember them giving it that status though a while back.

I think it's still a dwarf planet. Though, it's not the only dwarf planet. And not the closest, either...

I think Pluto's reclassification was just an attention grab by a quack who wanted to make a name for himself despite not having anything valuable to contribute to the scientific community. So the orbit's a little off-kilter and it's on the small side, I don't think that's enough for a reclassification to be meaningful.

It's not a planet, anyone's opinion on the matter means nothing.

It's the most famous dwarf planet. And it has a heart on it. So it's still special. But it's not a planet.

Honestly speaking, I don't konw much about astronomy to determine what is or isn't a planet. And if the govorning body of astronomy changes its scientific definition, I'll go with it.

Back in the 90s it was a planet. Now its not. So I'm going to go with its not.

I believe in science and science tells me it's not a planet.

Also how can someone care about a planet named after the Roman god of Death which is the Roman counterpart to the Greek god of Death Hades.

Though he is voiced by James Woods so I guess I can let it slide.

If Pluto is a planet than so is Ceres, Eris, Makemake, Haumea, Sedna, Orcus, Ixion, Varuna, Quaoar, Gonggong, Salacia and now the solar system has at least 19 planets.

And what about Charon? Charon and Pluto orbit around a common barycenter which lies outside of Pluto (in other words, Charon does not orbit Pluto, but the two orbit a empty point in space between the two bodies). And Charon is more than half the size of Pluto. So technically Charon and Pluto are binary planets.

And then what of Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra? Are they moons of Pluto or of Charon? Or both?

I'm familiar with Ceres and Eris, and would concur with those. The others I would have to look into, but don't have all the time in the world today nor in the next week. I will say, however, that I wouldn't leave them out on size alone. Just as jovial planets are still planets, just as Mars and Venus do not have sentient life as Earth does and yet are still planets, dwarf planets are too planets. It's simply too easy and simplistic to teach about the eight or nine for a bunch of kids, as opposed to the many planetary bodies and other rocks within our solar system.
