Antiques Roadshow is a quality watch when it's like 4am and nothing else is on. I like it when they have no clue it's valuable and they cry, especially little old ladies like that.

I like the ones where the appraiser is a bit of a dick and says something like, a victorian era end table of beautiful craftsmanship. You very rarely see an item quite this elegant. In good condition its worth tens of thousands quite easily.... unfortunately its clearly been refinished and that massively damages the value.

Its been 3 fucking days I've been slaving away and building my first ever PC and today is the day I finally got it all right and it booted for the first time!

Pia has never been outside other than in her carrier for the vet. I'm too damn overprotective. We also live on the 3rd floor and she's a psycho, so I am convinced she'd jump off the balcony trying to get birds.

Savannahs are naturally good on a leash but yeah id never let him outside alone. When he was small enough to go under the rail i never let him on the balcony but ive learned to trust him slowly. He still worries me sometimes.

I have been wanting to do this for over a decade now. All I had was a shitty work laptop for home computer use. I had been looking into computers to get and then I was like "fuck it I'm gonna build one if I' going to buy one".

I was very nervous. Never did it before but it worked out pretty well I must say. It's not that difficult now looking back on it. I built it right the first time but I was using the motherboard's HDMI port instead of the graphics card. I didn't even know the graphics card had an HDMI port because it was covered by a plug that was decorative. Took me 3 days to realize that and I must have disassembled it and reassembled it like 4 times before figuring out that was the problem the entire time. :P

Overall it's a rewarding experience and I'm glad I did it.

Lol not much of a story but I went outside barefoot last night, not with the cat. My elderly neighbor has been a widow now for a half year and I usually go by twice a week to water her flowers, mow her lawn and do a bit of upkeep because shes like 90.

She also lives like 2 miles away. Last night I guess it was in my head to go water her flowers so I walked to her house and brought home 4 pots of her flowers instead and then went to bed. I dont know where my head was with that. I dont really remember much about the journey too or from but my feet fucking hurt and I slept in a chair on the front porch.

I live in the Smoky mountains in southern middle Tennessee, my town covers about 12 square miles and has a population of under 900 people. The nearest town to me is about 17 miles down the mountain. I'm at about 2,400 feet elevation here. It's literally just wilderness, some stores and churches, and a lot of small farms and tons of woods.

Fair enough. I completely understand the appeal to people to have that lifestyle. Personally that sounds like hell to me, lol. I grew up in a country town and got out as soon as I could.

Yeah before here I grew up in metro Philadelphia and then lived 4 miles north of Atlanta and wanted to go off somewhere quieter and less congested. I always wanted a quiet place in the woods, and I live on about 10 acres. There's 30 acres attached to my property for sale and i'm considering buying it, I don't think i'd do anything with it but there's a fishing lake on it so there's that. I'm considering it still.

Yeah. It wasn't really that bad in all honesty. I feel like if/when I do it again in the future I'll be much more prepared. And it was really cool seeing how the individual parts relate to each other, etc. It definitely feels like an accomplishment.

Now I can continue my Resident Evil series playthrough. :D I'm downloading the first one again just to test it out because I know how slow it ran on the other computer, so it's a nice control group test.

I updated the drivers but I didn't mess with the BIOS or do any overclocking. Not sure if I want to do that if I don't have to especially if everything runs really well already.

I grew up in a pretty rural area. Now I live in a mid sized city of about 222,000. The metro area is almost 1 million people though, so it ain't small by any means. I could never live in a real major city like NYC or Chicago. I spent 2 months in DC working for my parrain and about half a year in Vegas with a friend and that's about as much as I could stand to be in major cities like that. I like the quiet (within reason, don't wanna live in BFE)

I had a cat named Cujo once, he was the biggest, sweetest oaf of a cat, and real clumsy. I always got good reactions from the vet and staff for that, especially being he gave no fucks about being at the vet and loved and rubbed on everyone.
