Marx tried to explain what he meant that no one knows for sure how Floyd died or if the cop that held him on the ground with his knee was what killed him He said "I think that people are so quick to judge the police before they have all the facts. I can't say whether a crime was committed or whether they did anything right or wrong, all i'm saying is don't rush to judge to judgement based on what you see in that video. Police are always crucified for doing their job" But that drew backlash including author, Tyler J Carter who said "If you live int he City of Petal, near the Hattiesburg area, your primary goal should be to get Hal Marx out of office IMMEDIATELY" President Trump says "justice will be served" and said the video was "very sad" as he said he will be briefed on the incident and make a statement where riots and anti-police and black lives matter protests have been calling for the men to be arrested for the murder.
