She was terminated from her job as head of insurance investment solutions at Franklin Templeton after having been placed on admin leave when shocking video showed her making a fake distress call to police saying a black man was threatening her life..and that man happened to be Marvel Comics Editor, 57 y/o Christian Cooper!! The company said following an internal review, she was fired from the company as they do not tolerate racism. Amy was making 170,000 a YEAR at her job at the company Bill De Blasio blasted the canadian native in her racists responses even though SHE was the one breaking the rules by not leashing her dog but decided he was the criminal for calling her out Amy went on CNN to publicly apologize to everyone and insisted she isn't racist and didn't mean to inflict harm and that she was just "scared" because she was all alone she doesn't know what was happening and now because of that video her entire life is destroyed The incident is cited as yet another example of white people calling police on african americans for unnecessary reasons as Cooper, a harvard graduate said he videotaped it because he thought it was important and when asked if he'd accept her apology, he said "If it's genuine and plans to keep her dog on a leash then there's no problem" Amy conceded it was against the rules to walk her dog unleashed as Christian was bird watching and saw her dog running around as it was tearing plantings In the video exchange, he said the dog can't run inside the area but she says her dog needs exercise as Christian explains she could take hi to the other side of the drive, outside of The Ramble but she said that's too dangerous. As Amy says she feels threatened, she walks TOWARD Christian but he tells her to back off as she says "i'm going to tell them there's an african american man threatening my life" Kellyanne Conway's Husband, George called it disgusting and was a classmate of Christian's who called the woman a lying racist dogwalker Former Survivor Vanuatu and Micronesia Contestant and running for Manhattan DA, Eliza Orlins calls it a serious injustice as she's a public defender for a decade fighting for causes like this as she said the hysterical 911 call was evidence of guilt and says this is the very reason she is running for office to change the way the justice system unfairly treats people of colour.
