You want a single shred of evidence? The 1.5 million numbers of those currently infected is wrong to begin with. There are not currently 1.5 million infected with the virus in the U.S. right now.

Worldometer has the total active cases at 1,141,751 as of yesterday.

We've Over 100,000 people have died from COVID-19 in just about 2.5 months. As mentioned earlier, the initial estimates put us at 100,000 by August. So it shouldn't be a shock that we may blow past yet another estimate. The models predicting death counts were assuming people would follow quarantine and social distancing guidelines. People ignored that all through the lockdown and kept spreading the virus.

And now that states are opening back up, we're seeing multiple incidents of large gatherings where people aren't following social distancing guidelines or wearing masks.

Correct. The number is likely much, much higher than that but testing is still pretty abysmal.

The fact of the matter is there's hardly any country (if any) that has the same life expectancy and comorbidities as us that completely outperformed our death rate. We outperformed death rates of many first world countries that have even a healthier population than we do.

I think my point went over your head. The US is very unhealthy. Countries doing better than us are healthier than us. And we're even doing better than several 1st world countries that are healthier than us.

Theres a lot of deaths everywhere. The USA is not drastically underperforming according to death rates and our health compared to other countries
