There is no way I am tipping as they get a delivery fee I refused to be charged twice. Kinda sucks that its an 18 minute trip.

I've been delivering through GrubHub. People who don't tip receive poor service.

Well I should say, drivers tend not to accept those orders or they may accept them and see no tip and then reject the order. This can result in significant delays for the order.

Tip them for venturing out into the world and bringing you the thing you were too lazy to go get. Its simple. If you don't tip its apparent you don't value the service they provide you and thus shouldn't use these services.

Your job likely offers an hourly wage which isnt the case with ubereats/grub/etc. If you really don't get it, there is no point explaining it to you. Just go on being entitled. You get what you deserve.

I've been working on restaurants for a long time. Do not do this if you want sanitary food... lol. The people who pick up our orders for uber eats and grubhub these days are stressed, and I have seen the no-tip cancellation loop before with customers calling me hours after their food is placed because drivers keep cancelling the pickup. When you finally get it, the chances of it being tampered with, sampled by the driver, or both is probably 50/50

Delivery Fee is so that the business can pay the grubhub fees and associative costs. They do not pay wages with this money nor do they tip the drivers with this money. Your tip tips the driver. There isn't a single delivery guy/girl on the planet who would say "I agree with TC, my boss getting paid is great and I don't need to get tipped at all!!!"

also what stress they are literally below minimum wage ##### that take food from a to b. Dogs can play fetch its not hard or stressful.
