Bidding on some stuff on Goodwill and these two geniuses bumped up a $10 starting bid to $40 with THREE DAYS REMAINING on the listing smh

I hope this goofball forgets the listing because I will be there with a fucking Barrett .50 Cal to snipe it back, assuming it doesn't go up any worse

Eh, I'm too lazy to time snipes. On Ebay I put my max bid and forget about it. If I lose, oh well.

That's fair

But the same people who bid high early on are usually coming back to attempt to snipe later (you can see part of their name on Goodwill's auction) and it just dumbfounds me

You gotta make the high bid to scare off people who are like "well, that sounds cool, maybe I'll drop a bid" because those people also get more invested, which leads to rising the bid up more near the end.

Dude is bidding 40$ hoping you'll just go "I'm not spending 40$ plus on that" and move on

On the flip side you have the jokers who will try to Price Is Right your ass and outbid the current price by one cent on something lol

My strategy is to do both lol, snipe late and so high they can't possibly cheese you last second
