We were watching Big as a family, and my mother would always skip part of the movie when Josh is dating that woman. I think its the "I get to be on top" line that triggered her, despite him referring to his bunk bed.

My parents didn't really seem to care. They'd see that an animated moive/series would air and record it on tape without checking what it actually is. Eventually, I'd have a two-hour tape with the fully uncensored Heavy Metal bookended by Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera shorts.

My dad didn't want my brother & I to watch R rated movies when we were kids. He mostly objected to violence more than nudity though, and by the time I was about 12 or so, he pretty much gave up on it. I think because I had obviously hit puberty & he knew my mom let us watch anything.
My mom didn't care, although I'm sure I saw a few things on HBO that she wouldn't have wanted to watch with me because I was very interested in sex even when I was young. I can remember seeing nude scenes when I was about 9 or so & thinking they were the greatest thing ever. ... Copied to Clipboard!
