Make your choice.

Which was the better Trek? TNG was more true to Roddenberry's ideas, but DS9 explored the darker side of the ramifications of a Trek universe.

On one hand, in TNG Riker managed to literally find one of the few females on a genderless species planet
But in DS9 we had O'Brien saying bollocks so it's a tie

DS9, but TNG isn't far behind.

Both are great, so its hard to decide, but I think I like DS9 more.

I liked both about the same, but preferred Picard over Sisko.

This is pretty much where I fall tbh. Both are great, but Sisko can never match Picard in both acting talent and character.

Yeah, it's not like DS9 went straight "Star Trek: Picard" or anything, it was still a very optimistic view. I just meant that it delved into the things that traditional Trek would have skirted around.

Sisko was fine, I just never cared for the emissary crap. TNG Picard will probably never be topped.

Both series had their ups and downs, but I feel DS9 had higher highs and fewer lows.

DS9 I loved the characters , besides the tiny Dax. Worf was done great in here. In TNG he was beat up all the time just to show the power of the bad guy and got played out. There is also a compilation of worf being shot down when gave ideas. However the funny thing is if you watch think about the shows, if they listen to him he things would have been easier.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Worf mind wipe his brother just so he didn't have to deal with him?

DS9 has the better story. TNG is infinitely rewatchable.

And I just finished marathoning DS9 a few weeks ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Worf

He was trying to kill himself because some dishonor, ( am guessing a lie from the high council, I can't remember they are assholes). And so to stop him from trying to kill himself they zip his mind.
