so, i won't bring my daughter to crowded places, out of pure instinct. but i thought about it the other day. if myself or my wife get covid, she's going to get it for sure, just because we're in close proximity of each other so often. it literally doesn't matter if i bring my daughter to the store or not, ok?

so i'm still not going to bring her, just because it feels wrong, ok?

what do you chumps think?

It doesn't bother me. If I see a couple shopping or family it doesn't matter. Ideally making other arrangements for kids would be better than standing in queues and walking around shops but I think that even without this pandemic and I know that's not always possible.

Shopping takes so long, you cannot just have the kids play outside?

(Groups of children (14 and younger or so), has been explicitly allowed here from the get go, maybe not everywhere)

I wouldn't do it, but I try not to be judgemental because I don't know everyone's living situation. Maybe they're single parents with no support system/money for a sitter... Never know.

I did see a full family at the grocery store a couple weeks ago, though. Thought that was pretty dumb. At least leave one parent in the car with the kids if you can't leave them at home for whatever reason.

I'm sure there's some people out there who might be comfortable inviting a complete stranger to watch their kids, but most parents would use a relative or a known, familiar, and trusted person to watch their kids.

This. We have never faced a pandemic before so we really should take every precaution. I'm surprised they even let people exhibiting symptoms live.

That's it! I'm going to stay in my bed and hide under the covers while getting mad at what others are doing. I'll let them know about it too via social media! That'll show them!

Or a babysitter if they don't have one who has the time.
