The Genesis game was pretty decent (even if the raptor campaign was waaaaay shorter and I was never able to beat Alan Grant's campaign -- I think the SNES version was probably the same). The problem was that they wanted a 2D beat-em-up, but unlike Batman Returns where they gave it to a company who knew how to make good beat-em-ups (Konami), they gave it to Acclaim, who thought using the Mortal Kombat 2/3 game engine would be a good idea. --- I am a Contract Software Developer.
