I did for a minor domestic situation regarding an ex years ago. Not my exwife. We moved in together for a very short time and got into an argument about something. So I wanted to leave and she was literally blocking my way. I told her to move or I'd call the cops cause I didn't wanna physically push her cause then she could have got me for abuse. I kept telling her to move or I'm calling the cops. Her facial expression was nice when I was talking with the dispatcher.

Cops showed up and I got to leave. Stupid bitch.

Nope. Don't trust them to make any situation I've seen better. If I witnessed a murder or seen someone dying, it would be a different story. Only time I called 911 was when I had my first panic attack while in Cali and thought I was dying lol.

Twice

First time, I was at my girlfriend's apartment and we heard the neighbors get into a fight and the guy started beating the woman. Cops showed up and it was kind of funny since they were having a conversation and I heard the cop say "You gotta back up man cus you're a big dude and I don't want to try to take you if it comes to it." Think they both got arrested.

Second time was when I saw a VERY erratic driver on the road driving home from a concert. Guy was in and out of all kinds of lanes and not driving a safe speed. 911 hung up on me though.

Some people were starving dogs down the road and they killed 2 of my cats. Called cops and told them about it and told them we also have children here who get on the bus in the morning and that it was possible they would be attacked by the dogs.

Never heard back from the cops but some of the dogs aren't starving anymore so

Grew up with an abusive stepdad so I used to call the cops quite regularly. And most of the time they would do absolutely nothing if there weren't any marks or evidence of abuse.

Yea, had to call it on my dad a few times as a kid.

One time the officer reprimanded me for calling my dad a bitch when I never did and he was clearly intoxicated.

Ever since, Ive never trusted the police with anything and look down on people who rush to them for everything.

I called them several times on a homeless guy who kept hanging out in my apartment hallway, loudly talking to himself. Eventually, he fucked off and found somewhere else to go.

Yes. On my dad the night he tried to kill me. Nothing came of it, mom and my brother refused to say anything, dad said I started everything. I told the truth, but the cops just filed it as a domestic disturbance and made me leave. The 3 of us left, but the next day we filed a restraining order and had him removed instead.

Another time at work. A guy kept stalking me. He'd wait in the parking lot till he saw me go to clean the rest room, then he'd follow me in and start masturbating out in the open. He'd say things to me, but I'd just tell him to use a stall instead. It went in for several encounters until I finally got fed up and called the police. Had to call them like 2 more times after that because he kept coming back.

Then one more time at work. A guy approached me crying, with a sob story about his family being killed in a fire. Then straightened up back to being fine and telling me he uses that story to lure people in for a hug, then guts them when they hug him. That he's already killed several people that way and is on the run from the police. Then he went back to the story again and asked for a hug. At that point I didn't really have a reason to live so I hugged him, basically out of curiosity to see if he'd do it or not. Anyway, he followed me around for hours. I finally did call the police when I saw him harassing other people for hugs. I couldn't sit there and risk them like I could myself, so I called them. My co-workers saw it, and the visitors too, so I was told to go in home once the police arrived(my shift was over).

Yes. There was someone running around on my roof, so I grabbed my gun and yelled out the window that I was going to start blowing holes in the ceiling, then pulled the slide on my piece so they knew I meant business.

They didnt listen and kept walking around my roof, so I called the cops and told them to send a chopper to scan over my roof.

They did, and they also sent a cop to question me. They told me nobody was there and it was probably a cat. I told them no cat is that heavy, and to check the wash behind my house cause he probably made an escape after he saw the copter coming.

They looked at me like I was crazy and didnt do what I said. The intruder was never found.

Once. I was driving around looking for apartments and this car kept swerving left and right like the driver was drunk or something, in the middle of the day on a weekend.

Yeah just once. Saw someone driving erratically, swerving into the oncoming lane and back. Then they slammed into a curb really hard and their front right tire popped. The car remained stationary for a moment, then backed up and continued driving on the flat. I followed them for a bit, gave the cops my location and the cars license plate number. I guess the driver must have figured out I was tailing them because they abruptly sped off. I followed going like 55 in a 30 but this car must have been going at least 70 in a residential area on a flat.

I told the operator Im not going to follow anymore and they said they had a car on the way to the area, so I hung up. Never found out what happened to the car.

Yeah, someone smashed a window on the floor below my apartment one night. I looked outside and saw like 5 people trying to get in so I called
the cops

turned out the guy who lived there locked his keys in and broke the window by accident trying to pet it open
