I know that sounds Utopian and it probably is, but that doesn't mean we should try to get as close as possible to this ideal. Amazon was running strong ever since it started out as simply an online bookstore, and was one of the few Internet-centric companies to weather the dot com crash

The only thing that upsets me is the fact this company refused to pay amazon workers fairly for years and the conditions these workers had to endure compared to other retail supply chains was horrendous.

A company as large as amazon should match or even give better benefits at least to walmart's level. Amazon is a clear example of trickle down economics not working.

I fall into that category (I make six figures but still think people in my bracket and higher should pay more towards social welfare programs), but the difference is that those people are actively harming themselves. If taxes dont go up for me, I lose nothing. If the system doesnt change for them, it puts them at a greater disadvantage.
