On the plus side, I'm over the "Oh God, I'm in my 30s!" thought process. Hopefully the later half of 2020 is better than the first half.

In 2018 I turned 30 and had an incredibly shitty year. I thought "I don't like being in my 30s."

Turns out that's still accurate.

I'm halfway through 31 and yeah, the idea of "oh God 30s" has passed. I'm enjoying the past few years more than most of my 20s.

(nothing will ever beat early 20s college :( )

Hitting 30 is like the point in life where you kid years are officially over. Everything before your late teens is usually pretty innocent. Then you hit your 20's and now you can suddenly do all that stuff you wanted to do as a teen so most people just get fucked up for 10 years and for whatever reason it's just accepted. Then you hit 30 and now you're expected to settle down ready to die.
