I got modded for stating my ideal traits in a potential partner, and how I hate that those traits are so rare these days.
I don't get how that got slammed for "sexism", but whatever; common buzz word that's lost practically all meaning thanks to the 2010 decade, and now only applies for anything that even remotely hints at anti-woman views, whilst neglecting the other, anti-man, side.

You cannt abuse something that does not exist. Also your arguement would also require that anyone who makes a negative comment against any videogame character on this site a tos violation. No it wasnt. It was for bypassing the profanity censor (albeit probably by accident).

The mod shouldve told you how to properly censor in the future. Spelling out the word, censoring out the entire word, or censoring all but the first letter are all acceptable ways to do it (for words not completely banned from usage on the board at least). Personally I like spelling the word out so people who have the filter turned off can see what Im saying.

I hear ya. I had one on the Mega Man 11 board. I got into a back-and-forth with another poster but, after that, if I even responded to anything said by other user, even in a friendly manner, it got taken down as "harrassment." It just got ridiculous. Eventually the other user stopped showing up so the issue stopped but he must have had a buddy with the mods. I think most of them try to be professional but clearly not always.

i'm not sure who exactly i was trolling, but the mod didn't even list a reason, and it was upheld when disputed, so there ya go, ok?

I had one of those. I only changed the U to a maple leaf as the word was shown on my hat when I was describing it. The mod explained that I could have even just uploaded a picture of the hat. Which makes no sense to me because its the same thing, but whatever.

the difference is that if someone doesnt want to see censored words they can leave the censor settings on and they can change their settings so that images dont autoload in posts

but if you change a censored word you literally bypass their censor, thats why it will always be modded regardless of context

Eh, the mods are fine here in my experience. Ive actually talked it out with one in the past when we slightly disagreed on something. They were pretty reasonable about it and heard me out at least.

Respectful communication is key. If you dont know why you were modded, ask properly and talk it out instead of throwing a fit/conspiracy theories.

Mods don't stalk you, but posters do. If someone follows you around and marks everything they can then you just get modded every day.

Who cares tbh. You only ever get modded after your post was read anyway.

The mods aren't stalking you, someone who doesn't like you is reporting all your posts.

Also, acceptance is key: If you call someone a name then you're most likely going to get modded for it because it's flaming. Just be cool with that, there's usually more than enough time between you making the post and it being modded for the person it's directed at to see it.
Just because your post disappears doesn't mean it didn't happen! XD

I still don't understand why **** is banned though, it's just twit with a different letter! That it also means female genitalia shouldn't be an issue because pussy isn't blanket-banned in the same way.

i'm 99% sure the mods ignore my reports. reported multiple spoilers on the anime board that just stayed there. only 1 that got deleted was also reported by someone else, and it got deleted within an hour or so
