but the way the PlayStation tweet was phrased made me think this was new

now granted if you watched the original announcement trailer on the Playstation channel it hid the fact it was coming to PC and Switch in 2021, but NISA's youtube page had a different one that had that info in there.

The Autumn window may well be new but them saying PS4 this year and PC/Switch 2021 was defo already announced.

I really wish they wouldn't put spoilers in everything. You can't even watch the games opening without it spoiling stuff. I've never watched any trailer for the series because of it. Even ended up watching the Cold Steel 3 opening after i'd finished it.

Ha! You can't spoil yourself from trailers if you've already spoiled yourself on the entire plot of the game from the wiki! *points at head*

Though, I've somehow actually managed to avoid getting spoiled on literally the entire plot this time around, but I definitely do know more than I was worried about getting revealed in a trailer, even as bad as Falcom is about that.

I'm in a wierd head space where I'm fully aware of how much these games cover and that there's a good 100 hours here, but I still don't see how they wrap it all up.

Worth mentioning that Trails of Cold Steel IV is not the last Trails game either, though my understanding is that Cold Steel IV wraps up most or all of the Erebonia-related plot threads.
