day. Behind it is FFX in terms of best FF game. It would be amazing to have updated graphics, voices for the characters and retain the same great music or even add some (hopefully) good music to the remake.

FF8 has the draw system, which automatically makes it a bottom tier FF. Having a fanfiction tier plot doesn't help either.

FF8 is a good choice but Xenogears would be a better choice.

But since we're talking about FF8, they could take this opportunity to rebalance some stuff and make it a bit more obvious wat they did thar with the game as a whole since that clearly went over everyone's heads.

Also, I hear they cut a lot of Laguna content, which I would be all for having restored.

ff8 can benefit from a remake like ff7 to fix all the things that are wrong in ff8. Like the stupid as fuck twist, the stupid as fuck card rule system that you have to exploit to keep it fun, or the stupider than if those two fucked and drank all through pregnancy that is the stupiderest than fuck junction system. Oh and fix the stupid as fuck summons.

I loved the GF system and all the unique commands they gave, but draw was absolute jank. The plot has some really cool themes and moments, but after three full playthroughs, I have no idea why Laguna matters in the least. Those sections just drag on to me.

Nah. Gunblade is one of those things I just turn my mind off and enjoy the concept of.

Also added a fun, minor twist to combat. Wish everyone else had a similar mechanic, even if it was just a generic extra hit or something.

If they're gonna remake something as completely as they did 7, I'd rather they go for FF 2. The incremental level up system is a great idea but the implementation was mega broken. And they could add infinite layers of dumb shit in the plot since the plot is a sparse NES skeleton of a Star Wars carbon copy.
