I was gonna try to dig up and move all of my trees but I think it's gonna be a lot less of a nightmare for me to just get rid of the trees and plant saplings.

I did that a couple of days ago. It was definitely time consuming. But worth it now that I have all trees in one area for wasps and furniture.

It's better to just chop them down and grow new ones.

You get wood, and you get credit for Nook Miles both for collecting said wood and for planting new trees.

Your house is slightly bigger. A trick Ive done is to dig around the perimeter of buildings to get a sense for size. Villagers are 4x4 while yours is 5x4, from what I remember.

Use dirt paths as measuring tape when moving stuff

Villager houses are 4x4, your house is 5x4 with the 5 being the horizontal length

I have noticed that diagonal cliff faces and river/pond shorelines (like the ones you make) have two different styles...like one is "rough" and the other is "smooth" and I legitimately don't understand the point.

I've been struck by creativity the past few days and gotten to the point where I need to wait out bridge/incline building and relocating villagers. Gonna be so expensive but a good long term goal.

There are 5 "Grand" bug models which are much bigger than the normal ones. 3 are available right now for Northern hemisphere: Atlas Moth, Banded Dragonfly, and Queen Alexandria Birdwing

Good to know, I was JUST about to dump all my atlas moths.

Yeah I only made $165k selling my stocked fish but to be fair, I do far more bug catching than fishing because you can actually target rare/valuable bugs >_> I have more than that saved up just in Wasps alone.

Also I gave him my 3 Oarfish to make a statue which would've gotten me another $40.5k if I had just sold them instead.

The fish models are all super underwhelming unfortunately. Would have been nice to have a few stand out like the Grand bug models

That's what I was worried about. I didn't want to but I'm thinking of actually looking up what the model looks like and if it sucks I'm just going to offload the sets of 3 of rarer fish I'm holding back.

And none of them are wall-mounted correct?

I have a wall-mounted black bass but I'm pretty sure I got that from a fricken tree.

When a villager moves out, does the house plot still remain for the next person to move into, or is the lot completely gone? Hoping having villagers come and go isn't gonna screw up the layout I have in mind.

So my turnip prices have been 52 yesterday afternoon, 120 this morning, now 99 and that apparently still isn't enough to rule whether it's Fluctuating or a Small Spike lol (apparently Small Spikes can go up then down before hitting their max?)

Right now mine are all lumped together but I plan on spacing them out better for my campsite. But I cant build my houses until I move all the houses away from the spot I picked out for it. Its a bit of a pain every day with how the trees are all clumped together

I have a few hardwood trees in my town area on one side of the river, and all the pine trees in my forest area. My fruit trees are all in a northern area.
