When a state adds deaths from a few weeks ago to the count b/c they think it was coronavirus, it's a conspiracy.
When a state removes deaths from earlier from the count b/c they think it wasn't, it's a conspiracy.

Maybe it's just difficult, especially while medical services are overrun with work, to perfectly identify which deaths were caused by coronavirus vs. other factors for some people, and they're just doing the best they can for now?
Nah... Gotta be a conspiracy. We all know the swine flu death count wasn't wildly varying in min/max range by the end or anything.

The numbers are likely extremely under-reported. Here in Nebraska they've only done 45,000 tests in a state with 1.9 million people. 18% of the tests are coming back positive and the number of positive cases is increasing by about 400 per day. The county I live in has 11 positives, but they've only tested 349 people out of 26,000, or 1.3% of the population.

Meanwhile in some counties like Dakota over 6.7% of the population is infected but they've only tested 17% of the county. The county seat of Dakota City has a massive Tyson Foods plant that's just teeming with the virus, with 669 infected workers as of 10 days ago. The plant employs 4,300 and only 3,413 people have been tested in the entire county.

And of course, just because someone has been tested doesn't mean they won't become infected in the future. We need a lot more testing. We need repeat testing. And we need antibody testing to find people who were infected and didn't know it so we can try to trace their contacts.

Zang, if that's going to be a daily trend, that equates to ~4200/month previously considered covid deaths that weren't. If that level of reporting is nationwide, that's a huge number of reported covid deaths that aren't actually covid deaths.

Has it happened more than once? Do you have any sort of data showing that this is a continuing trend to give any credence to your fear mongering?

I'm anti-fear mongering by advocating for actual numbers and not numbers that instill fear. They should not be reporting probable deaths until there is confirmation.

I didn't say anything about removing equipment needed by sick patients. That was your insane jump in logic.
