If anything it simplifies the end goals.

Basic tenement of feminism is equality. For anyone or any group marginalized by society. No playing favorites, no ignoring, and certainly no attacks.

That's not the point. Feminism is equality of the sexes. Everyone has a sex. Everyone needs to be fought for.

The needs of a white woman are not the exact same as a black woman.
The needs of an old Asian man are not the exact same as a Latina teenager.
The needs of a gay man, transwoman, straight woman, etc... are not the same.

But if your basic tenement is equality for the sexes, you can't play favorites. You can't ignore anyone. By definition, it's not feminism.

And I don't know much about Sarkeesian. Like at all. But her statement in the OP is fine. It's not petty.

So racial differences, gender identity, sexuality etc affects women on an individual basis. Take ten women and all of them are women. Some might be gay, some might be straight, some bisexual, etc. But all they have in common under most people's definition and understanding of it is "they're all women".

I know you're not white. What I'm saying is that a lot of people have been conditioned to only accept it as something that has to affect all women in general to be considered feminism so they're going to be ignorant.

Going just by women, black ones and white ones, it's seen that black women can be stereotyped as more difficult and aggressive and less desirable because of it while white women are more desirable and then you have the neckbeards who want their perfect Asian waifu who will be just like their anime

It all falls under women's issues in feminism. Nobody is saying that we lump them in together and say "hey black women aren't seen as aggressive now as a stereotype, guess the Asian ones must be fine too".

Women who weaponize rape accusations, Women who flat out rape. Women who take advantage of men in divorce and/or custody hearings. Women who verbally, emotionally, or physically abuse their male partners. Fucking breast cancer awareness not saying shit about men.

It's all fucked up and needs to be addressed. It's apart of the patriarchal society (that many women do perpetuate) in that men are stronger and women are weaker. So we must protect women but not men. Both sides are harmed with that.
