Honestly I kinda prefer when JP gets stuff first because I know what to save stones for. Getting blindsided by a crazy LR a month before the anniversary isn't really ideal.

You also don't get to temper expectations for 3 months for new units.

Okay I was pretty ready to blow all of my 400 stones and then I got LR Goku in my 2nd multi

I also got 2 Kefla dupes and 2 Toppo dupes which would have been crazy if they weren't rainbow already.

Congrats on the LRs. Even if I wanted to pull the banner is terrible for me since all I can really use featured unit wise is STR Kale and TEQ Caulifla. Everything else already has all paths unlocked or would just be a final path which doesnt really matter

Is there any actual reasonable way to farm SA for the new Goku or should I just dump Kais on him?

Sounds like Kais to me tbqh. I have 40 in my box right now. Was saving 38 for the anniversary LRs but...I can probably accumulate another 17 of them between now and then.

The anniversary LRs only need 10 each. You can farm base form Vegito from Stage 1 of the Super Vegito Dokkan Fest and base form Gogeta from the DBS Broly story event

Free dupe LR Goku under 177% lead was hitting for about 5.8 million by the end of the LGE and taking double digit damage. Pretty busted but I still lost because half of the team is TEQ and enemy UI Goku demolished me.

AGL Angel Goku
AGL Caulifla
TEQ Cabba

And then some other misc random SSJ2 Gokus I don't really have awakened because of how old they are.

Even non TEQ and AGL cards are good to bring. They may not do much damage, but Goku and Vegeta will barely hurt them. Without a decent TEQ card it might take a while to take down Goku, but probably just bring a TEQ Majin Vegeta friend in.

Wow I completely forgot that 5th Anniversary had a 200 stone banner where you got 55 units and a guaranteed LR at the end.

I know we're getting a lot of stones for anniversary but I'm feeling less confident about my amount of stones now.

There is a free ticket version of that banner too. It takes a while to get all the tickets, but everyone can do it for free without needing to drop 200 stones

That just means that I'll be doing it twice!

I pulled UI Goku after 100 stones on his banner and then I felt the need to drop 150 more for some reason. I think that's my biggest personal problem in this game; when I land early I can't avoid the urge to just keep pulling. If I'm 400 stones deep before I get a copy then I feel satisfied to stop but if I get a card on the first multi I need to do better at not pushing my luck.

I guess that's a better problem to have than emptying your bank account for a card though

Yep. Youre guaranteed at least 1 LR per the special multi, but some people might luck out and get 2 in one.

STR Trunks is underrated because his passive limits the teams where he's useful but I always like using him when I can. His chance to stun comes in handy for a few SBR
