Still sad I didn't get to nominate anyone for this one myself as this was the one I was most hyped for, but I'm glad others nom'd Pyramid Head and he was able to snag 4th. Someday maybe he'll snag a win.

Close one. As I mentioned before, I was surprised at how far Deathstroke got. Hell, he did better than Thanos. I still would like a Save That Anthropomorphic.

I'm surprised at Darkseid going out so early, as well as former winner Dio Brando who didn't even make it to the 15th round.

My noms did horrible this contest, with Sarris doing the best at 28th place.

With all the doctors nominated for this contest, it's a little surprising that Save That Doctor did horrible in the Poll.

Lots of good ones went out just before the top 10, including my last pick and one I really cared about, Thanos. Of the top 10, Deathstroke's the only one I cared much for because of Arrow.

I've seriously considered doing an All Star round of sorts with like, the top 20ish from 5 different contests or something like that, but when I've brought it up before it's gotten mixed reception.

Mystique did the best of my nominees, which was pretty surprising to me. I figured Magneto would beat her easily. I think he went out too early-- and the group that was 11-15 were the ones I figured would be there at the end.

Royalty could be interesting, but I'd have to really think of who qualifies from all the various media sources. Some of them would be spoilers too, which I don't know how you want to handle that.

Contests like this one are basically mixtures-- they pull from all media unlike say, save that Anime, RPG, or Fighting Game characters, which have also been done.

At least someone from PMD got to top 10. Even if it was Dusknoir. Those last rounds went quick. I kinda stopped showing up starting on top 9 lol.

I'm a huge Suikoden fan, so I was happy to see Luca do that well in his first contest. Roy Batty did the best out of all my nominees, which is fitting because he's awesome.

I'm probably most surprised that the Joker didn't get more support. I figured he'd at least make top 20 if not top 10.

I figure it's the same reason Mario and Link always do terribly any time they're in a contest, popularity backlash. Everyone assumes they'll do great so they don't go out of their way to save them, so they sink.

wow, I wasn't expecting my guy to pull through. Im honestly glad johnny ringo got as far as he did. it took me a few rounds to stop wanting to vote for him after he was eliminated just because of habit. awesome contest overall. I was really thrilled to see a lot of villains make it as far as they did.

No to discourage Waffle, but I tried an All-Star edition, but it didn't go over so well, and I put an end to it due to lack of interest.

If we had maybe a bigger variety of Save That's or if there wasn't already lots of crossover between different types of characters in other contests I feel like All Star would have a bigger appeal. Like, the appeal would be super good competitors from different Save That's matching up with other high placing competitors from completely different Save That's that you wouldn't normally see, but we already have a lot of that overlap. Pyramid Head has been in the same competitions as Thanos, or Squirtle, or Kirby already. The appeal would be to see wacky combinations, especially towards the finals, but we already get that with how we've set up our themes (horror characters, video games, villains, etc.).

If I were to do an All Stars, the best bet would probably be to make it a smaller competition: instead of the full 100+, maybe just 50, and pull the top 10 from 5 different contest. Honestly that might not be a terrible summer save that if I don't have time to do a full new one.
