I thought about getting a Lite but the games are like $60 new and $55 used.

Over the last decade, my expectations have been warped by $20 Microsoft/Sony games, Humble Bundle and Steam sales.

To be fair, it's been industry practice for a while now for companies to release a "super" console version like 3 years down the line. Nintendo is especially guilty of new iterations of the same device (although almost exclusively to their portables, not home consoles...but since the Switch is both, the jury is out).

Honestly, I hope Nintendo just sticks to the Switch design in the future, with incremental upgrades and improvements. The portable/docking style is just so damn useful.
