1. I'm not a min-maxer or anything like that. How are my stats?
2. I'm using a Fire Broadsword +10 (it's been maxed for a while). Will this cause any problems down the road? I just got to the Grand Archives. I've also got through (I think) a large portion of the Painted World (which I think is one of the DLC?).
3. At what point would I be 'okay' to go through The Ringed City? Can I even access it now?
4. Please make fun of me

Weapons get damage bonuses based on your stats. Look up weapons that scale with STR and DEX and grab one that you like and upgrade it. If you like the broadsword, use a non-fire version and your damage should improve.

Weapons with no scaling are initially stronger, but as your stats increase so will the damage of scaling weapons. Also when dealing with elemental weapons, you will be contending with two types of defense when hitting enemies, both their physical defense and their elemental defense. Elemental defenses in general tend to scale up quite a bit later in the game and especially in NG+ which makes pure physical damage more appealing.

Every weapon has a scaling grade. So an A next to the strength stat picture means more extra damage from your strength stat than something that has C scaling.

Yours has no scaling. Those sorts of weapons are useful if you're investing into a build that doesn't invest in str/dex and relies on some other mechanic/gimmick for damage.

As an aside, your dex is high enough that you probably want scaling for both stats if possible. You have all that dex, might has well use it.

the Ringed City is pretty difficult.

it's end game level stuff, but if you're able to go through it, and you'll be able to finish the rest of the main campaign pretty easily, since you pick up good: weapons, armor, spells, crafting items, etc., any you'll be able to level up a lot.

but storywise, it takes place after the main campaign, iirc, so idk.

Dark Souls 3 is maxed at +10 and under 70% equipload is fine.
