I personally didn't like it.

I found it buggy, poorly presented, and a bit of a chore to play.

It's probably fine if you like a grittier, more realistic role playing experience. I thought it was kind of slow and annoying >_>

its one of those games youll really really like or just cant.

i enjoy it. its clumsy combat with one hit kills early on but youll learn. theres a learning curve to it all. the different weapons types arent equal and it all depends how you play. the story seems cool. the setting is immersive af.

the dlc where you play as another character before what happens was really fun.

Combat kills all potential. So bad. The world was promising

I brought it up because it's cheap on PSN right now. Normally, I'm not into medieval shit but there's something kinda cool sounding about an open-world first-person RPG where you start as a peasant and eventually become a Knight.

This was pretty much my impression. I only got about an hour in so I should probably give it more of a chance though.

Yeah, I got sucked into that too. Played 30 hours and gave up. Gotta like really slow games. And even with that, you still gotta forgive the combat. Exploring can be fun until you realize there's no reason to.

I enjoyed it. There's several ways to complete a lot of the quests which is nice. The prologue is kind of a slog to get through though and us relatively long. It's a couple hours before you really get into the game. Then you can do whatever you want. I actually enjoyed the MC though which isn't usually a thing for me in these types of games. So that was nice too.

That and I'm just really fucking excited for Cyberpunk, so I'm just looking for stuff that'll temporarily scratch that itch for the time being.

There's nothing in the woods

Which is a shame, because my first impression was "holy shit this is beautifully realistic and Im gonna get a lot out of exploring them", but nope. It's definitely the closest woods have looked to my expansive personal experience of wandering Michigan's wooded areas.

This. Plus the bugs. Same with what they said about exploring. There is exactly nothing to look for. In fact most players actually find the best sword in the game close to a town right at the beginning
