Airhammy 04/29/20 5:15:24 AM #9:	I believe Tommy was the one with Native American roots based on an episode about his brother (played by JDF's actual brother), and he would eventually become a Red Ranger. Also of note is that Trini in the pilot was played by Audri Dubois, who is not Asian. She was replaced after asking for more money. He came out and said he faced a lot of homophobic abuse but wouldn't clarify who the guilty parties were.
