I too am waiting for the physical version and I'm hoping that there won't be any slip up's with it at least. Sadly I missed that really nice pre order deal for it a ways back.

So according to an update from the devs, the release date was April 28th but they delayed it kinda last second to May to finish a day one patch and the date didn't get properly changed in the system and thus basically got auto-released.
