One was actually because I'm really bad with names, so when somebody with an avatar that wasn't a photo of themselves requested my friendship, I would get really anxious over whether to accept the request. Maybe I know their face but not their name. Or maybe I don't. Another reason is I found nobody had a filter. I saw so many stupid politics bait posts, random context-less FML posts, literal hate, etc. I even dropped several of those random FML's myself. CE is one thing but these people I actually knew, I just didn't want to see them that way. A third was because I quickly realized there was a reason I hadn't spoken to some of these people in years. Not that I disliked them or anything, but they didn't have anything to do with my life anymore. There was no substance to the relationship, and there generally never had been.
