As good as the first 3 are, I think they got a little bit worse with each film. 1 was perfect, 2 was nearly perfect and an amazing sequel, and 3 was really good with a great ending. adjl 05/03/20 4:51:00 PM #18:	I thoroughly resent the fact that it exists thanks to how perfectly 3 tied up the series and the fact that this is a blatant merchandise grab (not that the other 3 weren't, but I wasn't cynical enough to identify that as a 6-year-old and now they've got nostalgia backing them up). but I did really enjoy the movie. Tbh the big giant petty hangup I have with the movie is that it felt too much like just a Woody movie rather than the whole ensemble. I know the movies have always focused around Woody, but it felt like everyone else was still a major player. Yeah I dont mind comic relief at all and I thought the way they handled Buzz in the first three was just fine but it really felt like they dumbed him down a bit tooooo much in 4.
