That's a personal preference and it's not getting people killed. If a person genuinely hates transgender individuals enough to murder somebody over it, I don't think my sexual preference is going to change their mind one way or another.

Don't accuse people of facilitating murder just because they have a preference. You don't see reasonable people blaming women for those unhinged kissless virgins who go on killing sprees because they can't get laid, do you?

they're all coming from the same perspective, though. This is what I was asking gunpla about. Your sources likely all share the same biases, so even if you have multiple sources, you're still only looking at one overall viewpoint.

I am a gay man and Id like to add something to this discussion from my experience in the lgbt community.

A lot of lgb people seem to equate negative sexual preferences or requirements with discrimination. This is sort of a byproduct of being a community whose common ground is sexual attraction, and preaches a message of unity against discrimination. For example, if you are a gay who is not interested in dating feminine men, it is not uncommon for these types of gays to call you a misogynist or femphobic (yes that is actually a word used I know its ridiculous).

I think the same applies to trans people. Not wanting to be with one is not the same as hating them or seeing them as inferior. Nobody is entitled to someone elses sexual preference. I also dont buy the argument that actively not wanting to date a trans person contributes to transphobia. If anything, forcing beliefs like
that on people is far more likely to contribute to a negative perception.

i would not be interested in dating a trans man or god forbid a trans women (Seriously, why are you on/at gay apps/bars if you identify as a women?).

Your position has been the transphobia that people display by not wanting to romantically engage with trans people, because they're trans, enables the attitudes that lead to other people murdering trans people.

Posting that infographic, saying to swap out racism for transphobia and saying how the lower blocks of the pyramid support the more radical blocks above them because of systemic oppression.
