I'm sure a lot of you out there are doing just fine with your brackets while others might have already given up. I'm curious to see what picks hurt your bracket or future picks that you might be worried about.

As far as my bracket goes my three biggest mistakes were Undertale, Kingdom Hearts III, and Xenoblade 2. I had all three of these making it to the division final before losing to the number 1 seed.

I would say my biggest downfall this contest was underestimating superhero games, I honestly didn't think they would do well on this site. I picked Xenoblade beating Batman (as mentioned before) and also had Spiderman losing.... in the first round.

While I don't blame myself for picking Undertale in the first round, I should have known it wouldn't have gotten past Odyssey. Especially after the rallies it got in 2015, should have known it would be anti-rallied as Draven was in the 2018 contest.

It's funny because I have pretty good knowledge of how gamefaqs contest will go, but I always make a few awful picks that keep me from being in the top 50. Anyway let me know how things are going for y'all this contest.

I would have won the contest the year Snake beat Sephiroth.

Not pulling the trigger on Witcher 3 > Skyrim is my biggest regret at this point, as Witcher has looked stellar, and Skyrim has looked blah all contest.

Undertale and Red Dead Redemption. I had both of them moving into the next round. Shoot.

I banked on Soulsborne not being as strong as some hyped up, so I took Awakening > Bloodborne and Last of Us > Dark Souls. My hope is that maybe Dark Souls is just really good at blowing out fodder, but not looking great.

I probably had too much faith in Skyrim, or rather too little faith in the rest of the bottom half. I thought Skyrim was a step above the bottom half and would get to Zelda comfortably enough, but that's feeling like a risky pick now.

Taking Three Houses > Xenoblade is probably gonna get me too. I had a feeling that Three Houses might not be quite as big as it was hyped, but it wasn't like Xenoblade was that impressive in 2015 either and if its the new Tales of Symphonia then it'd probably just get weaker. Well, apparently Xenoblade 2 and the remake hype are bigger than I expected.

Nothing too bad as far as stuff that's already happened, but definitely Galaxy 2 > Witcher 3 and then all the way to the finals. Judging by people's reactions, this seems unlikely at this point. I was banking on Galaxy 2 getting Mario nostalgia votes since it's 10 years old at this point.

That said, I don't necessarily regret that pick. I'm pretty behind after the first 2 rounds, demonstrating that I'm not all that great in predicting a run of the mill bracket. I'm okay trying to bank on a reasonable crazy pick. A crazy pick that did work last contest was having Zelda go pretty far, though not nearly as far as she did go. I ended up making the top 100 last contest, at least.

Took KH3 pretty fucking deep. And I had Hearthstone winning like 2 matches. Those 2 are deff up there.

Sekiro > DQ11. I have plenty of other small mistakes, but that's a six-point loss that put me on the razor's edge.

(Three Houses winning its division is probably going to be a worse pick, but I refuse to give up on it until it's actually lost)

I have not yet had a game I picked to win past the match it lost in, but I think Three Houses (my winner for division 4) will be the first, and NieR later might be the second.

I can however say I have picked against the same winning game twice. I had FFXIV > Uncharted 4 in MK8's four pack.
