Its 100% up to you, but if youre planning on playing mostly handheld, the Switch Lite is so much more comfortable imo.

And with the Home Switch thing, what do you mean by that? All my games are physical if that makes a difference. Is that just for digital? I was assuming I would need to buy a second copy of Animal Crossing too.

Also does anyone have a good Turnip Price for today? The missus says her trashes are like 44 or something so she needs to dump them somewhere else. She said something about anything above 200 is good?

When you start the game, it asks if you want northern or southern hemisphere, and then it shows you various island layouts to choose from (and you can close and re-open the game to get different layouts if you don't like any from the first batch).

The game gives you the option at the start to pick North or South

Lites still have joycon drift issues so if it ever happens on the Lite you'll need to send the entire thing in. Plus you lose out on an extra dock which now having two of has made moving from tv to tv way easier for me. But it's really just preference.

Replaced Poppy with Mitzi; I feel like I've never seen Mitzi before but Poppy had been my only normal type and I like Mitzi's design. Now I have three cats...though it's hard to complain about Raymond or Bob (though I do need to move out Bob eventually due to beginner home).

I just noticed the bigger/better stereo systems actually have higher sound quality. The high-end stereo sounds noticeably better than the portable record player or the throwback skull radio. My fiancee has a jukebox and I think that's also the high quality.

Also two stereos in the same room actually both play the song you have set, though you can turn them both off and then turn off just the one you want on. Weird little details.

It's so weird that they included this, but then every single stereo you place outside all automatically play the same thing. I set them all to shuffle to kiiind of offset this, but I was really disappointed I couldn't basically give different parts of my island different themes.

And uhhh, earlier today Rex went on a rant about him believing that the entire island was actually just a video game (backed up with hilarious observational evidence) and...it was incredible. Just made me realize how much more dialogue of that caliber could do for this game.

Just buy them at 108 anyway, the profit difference between the highest possible buying price and the lowest possible is only 80,000 bells for a full inventory of 4,000 turnips. Not worth the trouble of traveling to another island if you ask me, especially if other people are also visiting

Wife is at 91 so I got that. I probably have 2-3 weeks of this to pay everyone elses stuff off. Im also pacing them so they can spend a week on their new room to keep the excitement going. For me the game is now about accruing furniture to put in outdoor spaces that the villagers will barely use. I wish you could indicate to the villagers that they should check out areas.

From what I've read, each trip, three are fake and one is real. I've only had him once, but that matches up.

Here's a query though, can he sell duplicate genuine artworks? There are 42 pieces of art, so it'd take 41 trips + the first piece he sells you to fill it assuming you got it right each time and never had any duplicates. But I guess he must, in case you lost/sold the real artwork before donating it to the museum. Guess artwork trading is gonna be a thing too.

Other visitors CAN buy from Redd in other towns, me and the fiancee did this yesterday. But I think the thing is you get one buy from Redd per day period. Doesn't matter whose Redd it is. It has to be someone that hasn't bought from Redd at all that day.
