I don't know about that, but I it's the other way around for me. I'm still working, but considering that I'm putting myself and my family at risk every day and that my hours have been noticeably cut due to decreased business, I'd actually be better off if I had gotten laid off and getting unemployment.

I'd rather be working than not, but in this case it would be very unsafe for me since I'm high risk. It's still a hard decision. I actually considered applying to work at safeway yesterday since they are hiring and i'm bored out of my mind, but I would probably get sick fast and not be able to work anymore AND then be sick and miserable (or die).

I'm stuck at home dealing with the tail end of being sick for two weeks. I actually kinda want to go back to work this week, because I've used up my PTO and vacation pay and the longer I'm home for, the bigger the shitshow I'm going to have to clean up when I go back.
