I haven't seen any criticism of him from a respected and knowledgeable source, but perhaps I just haven't seen it. Again, I only hear this from hardcore Trumpers so it is something I assume should be dismissed. I have no real understanding of what the argument is though so who knows I guess. My understanding is that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is a philanthropic organization primarily focused on fighting infectious diseases mostly malaria. So saying a high ranking infectious disease expert has a connection to them seems obvious.
