Keeping up with the book in real time was a nightmare because it was spread across 4 books. Which is insane. Even for DC and Marvel mega events. So all of the sudden if you just read megaman you're stuck having to keep track of 3 other books you probably dont care about. The musical crossover between Flash and Supergirl, on the other hand, was lame. Half the fun of a musical episode is seeing the characters do musical numbers. They instead put Flash and Supergirl in a dream world where all of the actors are playing entirely different characters. What's more, prominent parts were given to whatever Arrowverse actors could sing instead of the ones that are actually part of the involved shows. And if you're doing a musical episode, you have to write original musical numbers, not just do song covers.
