I know people are always like bleh who cares and all that shit.. but I fuckin care. Like name me one more device that is like that.. or shit, name one that has Netflix but not Hulu

I just dont get it. Just give me Netflix.

AFAIK, they discontinued Hulu on the 3DS. But Netflix still works. So, that, I guess.

Yea I really don't fucking get that, it's been 3 years. They recently shut down the servers for Netflix on the Wii, a 14 year old console, but didn't bother replacing by adding Netflix to the Switch.

I'd like to think there is a legitimate reason, but I think it just comes down to Nintendo being just having shit for brains

Yeah. But it didn't have Hulu for couple years on 3DS, even though it had Hulu. So, maybe it will add Netflixin another year or whatever...

Or they could be waiting until the 3DS is almost done. Who knows?

My understanding is that it's in Netflix's court, in which case I can understand not wanting to put in the effort to develop a Switch app after the WiiU didn't do well enough to justify said effort, but as you say, it's been three years, and the Switch has clearly been doing much better than the WiiU did. That, or they're reasoning that there isn't actually that much demand for it because of how many devices most people have that can already play Netflix, which isn't entirely unreasonable. It's weird, but there are a few explanations.

Now, why Nintendo hasn't added an Internet browser, I have no idea. Every system they've made since the Wii has one, and it is definitely handy to have one for referencing game materials. Sure, most people have smartphones they can use for that now, but it's still nice to have, and it's weird that they wouldn't have that yet.

That's probably because it's newer. Hulu was added to switch pretty early. Before Disney plus was released. So that makes sense...

And? All I said was it was newer which is a reason why Nintendo could still have Hulu and not Disney plus. Or they don't want Disney all up in their whatever. Or it could be because of money. They dont have to. And if they didnt have Hulu and the YouTubes, Id be like, alright, obviously they dont want that stuff. But they do have Hulu and the YouTubes. So why wouldnt they have the other stuff?

The switch already acts almost like a computer or laptop , it needs updates to even work smoothly , has soft shell , there is a cooling system which also adds more open area for the dust to come in and I don't even mention how bad the cooling system is , cause it gets warm so fast and so on ... adding browser or anything more than it has would make it nothing more or less than a small screen laptop which if you actually buy will give higher performance .
It's actually what bugs me about switch . 3DS was way better in the build and independence and will have way longer life span than switch .

Nothing against netflix or hulu on gaming consoles , just saying the switch would need better build and more independence in order to smoothly run browser or netlix, hulu ...you name it

But it already runs Hulu fine

And Ive never had a problem with the switch getting hot. Is that a problem other people have?

It gets hot if you play while plugged in charger or when it starts up and loads bigger game . At least that what happens to me and my bro all the time .
