A Texas Mother, who says is NOT a DEMOCRAT but a BERNIE SANDERS SOCIALIST has furiously denied remarks that her 19 y/o Daughter is a HERO because she works in fast food during the pandemic and said she had no choice or risk being fired and is a SLAVE TO CAPITALISM!!

She goes by @opnmindtexas who responded to someone stating her daughter is a hero for working an essential job while others stay home but said her daughter was sacrificed demaned by the elites

Her rant came in response to a quote from Ellen Degenres who came under fire after she likened quarantine to a jail that left a bad taste in people's mouthes as the mother said "She's a fast food worker.She's exposed EVERY DAY. No one GAF about Ellen's privilege pamper's a** stuck in her mansion. Show me @ellen working the lines @ the grocery store. NO mask. NO gloves. Then i might care"

She thinks Hero is the wrong word and said her daughter is just a slave to the rich and that she's terrified as is she and she can't quit or she'd be homeless but doesnt want to come home to infect her or her sister.

27,000 people liked her post but a few challenged her as one person said "There's a lot of ways to survive. She just doesn't to lose that lifestyle she's living. Don't blame capitalism"

But the mom said "Yeah..she's really living it up on that 7.25 an hour. Caviar, Champagne. The works. CAPITALISM KILLED OVER 60K PEOPLE A YEAR IN AMERICA BEFORE CORONAVIRUS. But you sounded smart for 5 seconds on Twitter. Face with rolling eyes. Yay you"

I mean, her mom can give her money for rent for a few months or let the daughter come home and have her quarantine in a tent in the backyard or buy a used trailer and resell for the same cost...its Texas. The daughter only makes 7.25 an hour, not much the mother would have to replace if helping with rent or food temporarily. Greedy socialists.

I completely fucking agree with her, they're victims, earning peanuts while forced to work in dangerous conditions they never "signed up for".
I wonder what she thinks about the fact that minimum wage employees who were lucky enough to have been in "non-essential" businesses are now collecting $20+ per hour on unemployment. I legit cannot imagine how much that must stick in the craw of every one of these food service, grocery store, etc... workers... Especially when the crafters of said bill outright gloat that the "essential" workers won't qualify if they quit their jobs, so they're literally trapped in their job (not a lot of job openings right now!). They are VICTIMS.
(Something I noticed ever since 9/11 is that people like to miscategorize victims as "heroes", like being a victim is an pejorative or wrong in some way, so it's disrespectful to call them that or something.)

The twitter handle is a poor choice, even though it's clearly satirical, if she wants anyone to take her seriously, though.

Third option. People care much more for their bank account than their fellow citizens. Its good that capitalism builds drive in people, but I also think there comes a time when you have more than enough.
