This reminds me of the time Inafune was making a spiritual successor to Mega Man and actually tracked down a lot of the original series' talent and then one of the girlfriends drew some R63 of the new main character and people went ape.

Of course it's hard to not justify MN9 hate today but at the time it was hilarious.
