I do have some anime songs in my library, but it's less than 10% of my total music. Purple is phenomenal. And yeah I agree. The year end lists tend to go for mainstream top 40 stuff and the indie rock world. The whole heavy side of things and the old legacy bands from the past decades are barely mentioned.
