I think I convinced her to let me get her groceries and stuff and drop it off/sanitize it for her and my dad. They're old and immunocompromised.
Kinda sounds crazy to say in the year of our lord 2020. I'm glad I convinced her though... I know the frustration you're feeling. My mom definitely has a death wish. She has breast cancer and was already in atrocious health, so my brother and I have been doing everything for her for the last two years. She all of a sudden decides she needs to go out and do things because she "doesn't know how much longer she'll have the chance." I tried to tell her it won't be that much goddamned longer if she gets this shit but she insists and I can't babysit her all goddamned day.
