I'm very proud of Washington State. I feel like the measures have been working and a lot of people are taking it seriously. Yeah there are some dumb people going around at the beach and lakes, but I'm glad more enforcement will be used for those. Feel generally pretty good especially since we were one of the fisr states hit hard.

Nevada. I feel good as well. I feel like well be prepared here when the cases peak in around 3 weeks or so. It also helps that no visitors have really travelled here the past few weeks.

Nebraska.

Governor started off handling it well but now is dropping the ball hard as I expected him to.

Citizens are fucking morons and not taking it seriously.

Not a state but a province

Ontario is doing alright. I'm more happy with the federal attention and response but the provincial government has been taking what I would consider appropriate steps

The Premier publicly shamed a company that was gouging people. Plus they passed a bunch of shit banning evictions and freezing shit.

Even though the provincial government is a Conservative majority

So that's cool.

Ohio
Gov Dewine has been doing a pretty solid job. The Director of the Ohio Department of Health has essentially become a celebrity. She's a mildly attractive older lady scientist that has done a great job of dumbing things down so our dumb ass residents can somewhat understand the importance of all of this.

Police are openly treating enforcement of anything beyond bar/restaurant closures very lightly. You have to be having a huge party in public for them to care.

And most of my citys police are just tied up in low income or urban areas anyway. I doubt any enforcement of any kind is going on in the thick of the suburb areas.

I think the county I work in has had 1 case, county I live in like 15 or so. I see cars driving, all types of stuff, people at the grocery stores. Only strange thing is later in the day the car traffic slows down and the restaurant parking lots being empty.

I'm in NJ.

Murphy's conferences do little to inspire confidence in me.

He never really takes any questions either which makes me wonder what reporting these statistics are supposed to do besides make me feel uneasy

Calling in the National Guard to break up a party is a massive Y I K E S

IL. They are trying to get things in order, and have the advantage of attempting to get everything going before things are already too bad to make it in time. So things may work out. Chicago is probably gonna be bad though.

Decent enough, most people are being sensible. Grocery stores still a penultimate disaster. Government has been good, we have an NDP (Think Democrats if everyone was Bernie) and Green coalition and theyre taking steps. Saying it might be out of here by June lord willing.

California.

I think we are doing overall OK given our large population I would have expected more cases. Wish people took it more serious though. Still see Walmart full as ever. Doesn't help we have a 1.5million city across the border in Mexico as our sister city...

Mixed feelings, I feel like Cuomo is doing all he can and is doing a lot better than President Dumbass, but at the same time we've got the most cases in the country. I heard on the news there's been hundreds of confirmed cases and several deaths in my county. At this point I'm pretty much scared to leave my house and afraid my dad's going to bring it back when he goes to the stores.

Hawaii

Governor slow to respond. Lt. Gov. tries to step up to the plate (former MD) but gets fired from the response team for usurping the governor.

Meanwhile, the airports are not screening people's temperature coming in. "Mandatory" quarantine for 14 days of all arrivals is done by them writing down where they will be staying, which is only confirmed by a follow-up phone call at random (if done at all).

We now up to around 230, but that's because they refusing to widespread test, and instead only testing those who show symptoms, was confirmed to have traveled to a hotspot, and also having tested negative for the flu.

Aka we ******.

Yeah Vegas is the major spot here since like 85% of our cases are there, but it would probably be close to NYC level if tourists were flocking here. The Reno area isn't terrible yet. My county has about half a dozen cases, none have been serious.

I live in Lincoln county, work in Gaston county (essential worker).

Everyone is literally still out all day and only going home around 7 p.m.

The cops are pulling people over left and right and the customers I have to interact with are fuckin' nutso claiming it's a government conspiracy and saying they won't be told what to do. They're going to make a huge problem if they don't calm down for at least a few weeks.
