My boss just got it so I probably do as well. Which also means I might have given it to my elderly dad and diabetic mother.

Considering this could directly affect me, my parents and several of my immune-compromised friends? I've been out once in the past two weeks, and I'm keeping my ass indoors.

Just worried about my grandparents, but they're hermits anyway. Not worried about getting sick. Just waiting for the country to separate into young and old so I can do stuff again

I'd say about a 7. I don't want to get it and I don't want my mom to get it.

Ehhh like an 8 outta 10. I got stage iv colon cancer with metastasis to liver and lungs. as a consequence, my immune system is shot to shit since i've been on chemo for the last three years of my life. because of the metastasis, my lungs aren't suitable for operation of the tumors as they're (my lungs, that is) effectively eaten with cancer and if they did operate there would be, as my oncologist affectionately put it, "nothing left."

so, between having cancer, having a shot immune system, having riddled lungs, i'd say my chances of surviving corona are realistically slim.

I'm more worried about what's going on because of the virus than the virus itself. Also worried about family and friends. I'd probably be ok but if I wasnt i worry about how my wife would cope.

I'm not worried about me or anyone close to me getting sick because we all are being cautious as possible. I'm more concerned about lasting ramifications. People that collect rent and bills aren't going to accommodate you forever, neither will my work paying me if we stay closed longer than expected (which will happen).

What do you mean you can't get ahold of them? I doubt any state doesn't have a way to file an unemployment claim online

My mom is in her late 50s so 9/10. But I'm still working and not dealing with people so I'm not worried about catching it.

I'm concerned for me and my coworkers, since we work at Whole Foods and are thus exposed. I have a few coworkers who are immuno-compromised.

did your state make it so places can't evict anyone for like 2 months?

i'm not too worried about it but i am more than before since 4 people at my job have it and 1 person died from it there. we're still having to work and my job is federal so won't shut down.

i also see unemployment is paying $24 an hour and i'd much rather be safe at home the next few months and make the same money.

it's overloaded with so many people trying to file now. it's like 1000x busier than normal and it's not designed for this many people.

My sister lost her job and had that problem. I told her she should try to get up really early or stay up really late and try to file when site traffic is low, which worked for her.

I would likely die if I got the virus. I'm immune-compromised and I have reduced lung capacity in one of my lungs. Pretty fucking worried.

I filed; said it went through, went to make my claim, didn't get paid.

Tried to call them to see what the fuck was up, they didn't answer, left my number but they haven't called back.

I think it usually takes a couple of weeks for them to process the claim and to start payments. Just make sure you keep filing a claim every week

It sucks, but I've gotten to where I just don't worry about anything. Doesn't do any good and sometimes even makes you worse off.
