Annoyed that she kept a level of whatever the fuck Vindictive Bastard is supposed to be.

So 7 Tower Shield/5 Stalwart Defender/1 Monk/1 VB.

Added an extra level or two to TSS to get the bonus to movement in Heavy Armor.

I showed up to Nok-Nok's shrine, told him to take it down.

I then immediately reloaded and let him keep it.

I can't break the little dude's heart like that.

Plus I have that Priestess of Lamashtu on my payroll and it keeps her happy.

I'm finishing up Val's quest.

She passed the Divine trial and the dickbag Paladin flipped his shit and tried to kill us.

Now, dickbag Paladin himself was surrounded by Innocents and my Sorcerer is not exactly discriminatory in her spells, so I couldn't nuke him.

Fortunately, one of his cronies decided to attack Octavia and I was allowed to express my displeasure at that.

I've told all parties involved to get the fuck out of my kingdom more than once.

Haven't had a chance to kill the main chick or the pirate yet, but I intend to.

I killed that Priestess and had Nok-Nok take down those shrines. I don't need any heathens in my kingdom. I don't want a plague of little monster abomination babies. I've got enough to deal with.

I tried to side with the Hell Knights, but their leader was a bitch who kept badmouthing my leadership and accusing me of being weak. So, I killed her and her knights. Then the pirate dude was like "thanks, buddy" and I'm like "yeah, I'm gonna kill you too" and he's like "but why!?" Uh...because you're a pirate who is on the run for killing a dude AND you're trying to start your own little fiefdom at my doorstep. Fuck that.

It kept me from getting an achievement, but oh well.

As for Valerie, she was found innocent in my playthrough too. Healed her scar and have her a +2 stat bonus to Strength and Charisma because she is Valorous. She is also my future queen.

Didn't even realize she got a stat bonus.

Gotta do zombie lady's quest now.

I got that cursed cloak that's super awesome but gives -4 to Constitution and shit.

Popped it right on her back, bitch ain't even GOT a CON stat

I was pretty nervous when my Sorcerer ended up being the one doing the drunken melee.

Fortunately my Sorcerer has ludicrous stats.

Also nobody really tried to fight her.

She just kept running up on people and they'd punch other people while she beat the shit out of them.

Literally didn't get touched once.

Fixed Amiri's sword, she offer herself to save the tribe and immediately got rezzed.

Also found the Raven Queen.

She talked a lot of shit then dropped in seconds.

Cool, maxed out Dragon Disciple.

Sinking the rest into Sorcerer, I don't tend to put my chick into melee enough to want to sacrifice spells for Monk level.

Also I've only turned into a Dragon once but it is ridiculous.

Kinda want to make a team of me and Angry Orc, just two Dragons going nuts.

Also I found an amulet that makes every cantrip Empowered, Extended, Maximized, and have Reach.

Gave it to Octavia since she likes Acid Splash.

Thoughts?

Turns out a goblin stole my throne.

I've even seen this motherfucker before.

Like three times.

Nok-Nok told me not to bargain.

Did a successful Diplomacy check to inform the goblin it's my throne, dude doubled the price.

Nok-Nok called me an idiot.

Did an Intimidate check to inform the goblin that I was going to murder him, he gave me back my throne and a FUCKLOAD of treasure.

Beat the DLC.

Since I fixed the stupid fucking method they have for determining if I get the plot items, the silver dragon flipped his shit and assaulted the miniCthulhu without me.

It went really badly for him and I had to fight the miniCthulhu AND the silver dragon.

Fortunately, silver dragons have one major weakness.

Fire.

Nok nok is a fucking killer end game. Increase his stealth and crits as much as possible. His regular attacks can do as much as medium level offensive spells for me back then lol.

I havent read most of the part of topic i missed yet, but what kind of party are you running lol ?

Nok-Nok does more damage than anybody, unless my main chick is laying down Maximized Empowered Fire Snakes.

I usually just use his flanking to sneak attacks. Also I'm leveling him pure Knife Master.

Team:

Amiri: Full Barbarian. Got her using Oversized Bastard Sword or Greataxe.

Val: 7 Tower Shield Specialist/8 or 9 Stalwart Defender/1 Monk/1 Vindictive Bastard (whatever the fuck that is). Got her that high in Fighter to get full speed in Heavy armor. She's got Onslaught for Armor and Perfection for a Longsword, and I also gave her boots to increase her speed. I think she's faster than a Fireball.

Tristian: Just straight Ecclesiastes or whatever. I finally got a cool Scimitar for him, people get struck by lightning when he crits.

Octavia: 11 or so Wizard/2 Rogue/2 Arcane Trickster. I couldn't see a point in leveling AT further. She has an amulet that Empowers and Extends every cantrip, so she Acid Splashes.

Main chick is a 10 Gold Dragon Disciple/8 Sorcerer. Lot of focus on fire, backed by Necromancy. Uses a Light Crossbow.

Nok-Nok stabs motherfuckers.

Mayne mime isnt optimal, but i am prettt much using her as spell slinger that occasionally melee. She deals decent melee i guess. Lots of defense / AC raising spell buff like barkskin etc, but she def cannot tank. Facing enemies with high attack she will absolutely get rekt

Plus val already tank for the whole team. I also sometimes switch tristan with harrim and he tanks decently so with 2 tanks usually i am safe.

Also, this game lacks two spells that draw the line between a Sorcerer and a God:

Lower Resistance and Greater Malison.

Baldur's Gate II, pop off two of those and you're out there Fingering errybody to Death.

edit: oh wow, looking it up on Steam, it says right in the blurb that it was inspired by the BGs and Arcanum. damn, i always thought it was just another Diablo knockoff. i might have to check this out. i've had this casually wishlisted forever, but i might have to put it on the short track.

It plays a good bit like Pillars of Eternity.

Immunity to Acid plus Communal Stoneskin plus Extended Haste plus Particle Form.

Didn't even stand a chance.
